A major concern of digital and analog based storage technology is the necessity for dedicated on-site personnel to constantly change recorded media. Pelco's DX7000 Series Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is the perfect storage solution for unattended recording. Phenomenal compression technology and flexible, internal storage capacity alleviate the need for on-site personnel and external storage devices.
The Digital surveillance high capacity recording capabilities are enhanced with built-in video motion detection, alarm-based recording, and relay outputs to controls. Record and display images from one, four, nine or sixteen camera inputs to a single SVGA monitor. Analog monitor output available for viewing purposes.
View live video while recording and process commands to operate pan/tilt/zoom functions on controllable cameras such as
PTZ camera Series. The DVR also features remote site access (through free software), individual remote site settings, and multiple password levels.
Select from a variety of DVR models to meet the exact demands of your installation. Models range from an eight-channel, single 30 GB HDD to a sixteen-channel unit with eight 60 GB hard drives (a total internal storage capacity of 480 GB and ninety plus days of recording time).
The Digital surveillance Series DVR's remarkable recording features make it easy to customize a recording schedule. Continuous, motion, and/or sensor detection can be programmed using up to 24 available group schedules.
Up to eight alarm inputs are available to trigger alarm recording when a signal is received from a connected device. This input will tell the unit to start recording, or if it is already recording, to record at a higher speed. If the recording is already in progress, a pre-alarm recording function can be set to record images before the alarm sensor detects disturbances.
When the unit is not recording, it can be set to activate when a camera detects motion. Each camera can be programmed to detect motion, including the capability to select up to 10 motion detection areas (per camera) and motion sensitivity.
Versatile high-speed search operations include time and date searching, index searching, skip searching, and alarm list searching.
To handle applications requiring long-term storage of recorded images, the digital Series DVR is capable of using supplementary devices to create backups and copies.
Free remote site software is included with the DX7000 to provide remote site viewing of live and recorded video. Remote site users have search, pan and tilt and relay capabilities. |
